AbstractAbstract
[en] The distribution in the rapidity gaps Δsub(n,k)=ysub(i+1+k)-ysub(i); k=1,2,..., n-2 are studied, where n is the number of charged particles produced in the interaction. The π-p data at 40 GeV/c are compared to predictions of two variants of the multiperipheral cluster model. The one-particle inclusive and semiinclusive distributions and two-particle correlations are adequately described by these two variants. The difference is due to heavy clusters which disintegrate according to the hydrodynamic model
