AbstractAbstract
[en] Expressions for angular and energy distributions of recoil nuclei from knock-out reaction of neutron by high-energy proton on light nuclei, are obtained. The problem has been solved in the quasifree scattering approximation, the interaction at the initial and final phases being taken into account using the Glauber theory. As an example the knock-out reaction of neutron from a carbon nucleus by the 3 GeV proton is calculated. The necessity of taking into account the distortions at the initial and final states is shown. The Glauber approach instead of the usually employed method of distorted waves enables one to obtain calculation formulas in the closed form and to get rid of labour-consuming calculations characteristic of the method of distorted waves
