AbstractAbstract
[en] A rapid nuclear-physical method for testing of wear resistance of carbon steel, chromium, and zinc coatings is described. It consists in the excitation of X-ray fluorescence of the coating element by nuclear radiation of radioisotope sources. The intensity of wear is estimated by the coating mass, the value of which determines the recorded signal. The error in determining the mass of zinc coating was 4.5-5%, and that for chromium coating was 3.2-4%
