AbstractAbstract
[en] Investigated was longitudinal self-focusing of short electron bunches in heavy-current electron induction accelerators. Electric fields were found to be excited by an electron bunch moving along an isotropic, non-dispersive and infinite on the radius ferrite channel. It is shown tha is no longitudinal self-focussing of the bunch in such a channel. The calculated values for the electric intensity in the channel is of interest from the viewpoint of ion acceleration
