[en] This brief testimony comments on the relationships between the licensing of additional nuclear power plants in California and the Commission's duties under AB 2820 (nuclear fuel reprocessing) and AB 2822 (high-level nuclear waste management), and on the possibility of decoupling decisions on the licensing of nuclear power plants from decisions on the acceptability, timing, or location of reprocessing facilities.
