AbstractAbstract
[en] The effect of transient states (TS) upon distribution of fission energy between the kinetic energy of fragments and their excitation energy is estimated. The energy dependence of cross sections of 235U fission by neutrons at the energy from 1 keV to 5 MeV is calculated using the statistical model. Difference between the calculations and the values for cross sections obtained elsewhere does not exceed 5 per cent in total cross section, 10 per cent - in elastic scattering cross section, and 20 per cent - in inelastic scattering cross section and in fission cross section. Within the channel description of fission cross section, one estimates variations in the kinetic energy of fission fragments and establishes the dependence of the number of fission neutrons upon the energy of fission-inducing neutrons. TS contributions into the kinetic energy of fragments are accounted for. A conclusion is reached that the TS structure cannot be responsible for the ''fine structure'' showing up in experimental data
