AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of investigations of multiparticle isomeric nuclear states with half-lives of 10-4-10-1 s, high excitation energies and large spins are presented. Targets were irradiated with 20.8 MeV neutrons and 38 MeV alpha particles with subsequent detection of gamma and internal electron conversion spectra. All stable isotopes from carbon to bismuth except for noble gases were irradiated. The (p,n), (p,2n), (p,pn), (α,2n) and (α,3n) reactions were found to be the major reactions of isomer excitation. The decay schemes of two-particle isomeric states in even-even nuclei with 106 neutrons and in odd-odd sup(204,206)Bi nuclei are discussed. The decay schemes of three-particle 205Po isomers and four-particle 204Bi isomers are also considered. The method used is helpful for studying the decay of isomers with the production cross section of more than 1 mb
