AbstractAbstract
[en] Experiments on the diffusion between iron, nickel, iron-nickel alloys containing chromium, and metallic thorium in the temperature range from 500 to 8000C are reported. The compounds resulting from the diffusion of iron and nickel in the thorium lattice have been identified and the activation energies have been determined. There will not be any thorium diffusion into the above mentioned materials, but, to a minor extent, however, into a phase, which is formed in the alloys at the boundary surface on the side of the steel, as a result of chromium and iron enrichment. Es wird ueber Diffusionsversuche zwischen Eisen, Nickel, chromhaltigen Eisen-NickeL-Legierungen und metallischem Thorium im Temperaturbereich von 500 bis 8000C berichtet. Die durch Diffusion von Eisen und Nickel im Thoriumgitter entstehenden Verbindungen wurden identifiziert und die Aktivierungsenergien ermittelt. Thorium diffundiert nicht in die oben genannten Materialien, in geringem Umfang jedoch in eine Phase, die durch Chrom- und Eisenanhaeufung stahlseitig in den Legierungen an der Grenzflaeche entsteht.
