[en] In a liquid metal-cooled reactor there are provided openings along the coolant channels in order to reduce local thermal peaks. At the outlet of the coolant channel a transducer is monitoring the cooling of the fuel. The heat is removed by several open heat transfer pipes distributed over the cross-section of the coolant channel. (TK)

In einem Fluessigmetall-gekuehlten Reaktor sind entlang der Kuehlkanaele Durchlaesse vorgesehen, um oertliche Waermespitzen abzubauen. Ein Wandler ueberwacht am Austrittsende des Kuehlkanals die Kuehlung des Brennstoffs. Die Waermeabfuhr erfolgt durch mehrere ueber den Kuehlkanal angeordnete offene Waermeuebertragungsrohre.
