AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of a new and potentially definitive test of the time-dependent mean-field approxiation in heavy ion reactions are discussed. In particular the results of a calculation of strongly-damped 84Kr-induced reactions on lead 208 at 494 MeV and on bismuth 209 at 600 MeV using the time-dependent Hartree-Fork approximation are discussed. The experimental Wilczynski plot for the later reaction is shown as well as the results of calculations for 10 impact parameters. 11 references
