AbstractAbstract
[en] Parametric scaling of neutral beam-heated tokamaks is examined to determine the trade-off between beam energy and power. It is shown that over a wide range of plasma parameters and assumed transport properties, the center mean plasma temperature is a function of P/sub A/E/sub B//sup delta/, where E/sub B/ and P/sub A/ are the beam energy and power per unit area, respectively, and delta is a calculable constant of order unity
