AbstractAbstract
[en] The author gives a summary of the topics discussed in his lectures at the 1978 CERN School of Physics. Asymptotic freedom, hadron spectroscopy, deep inelastic lepton scattering and the jet and gluon models are the main subjects of the lectures. (W.D.L.)
