AbstractAbstract
[en] To accommodate the need for data generated by the nuclear community, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has established a Reactor Safety Research Data Base Program. This program establishes the capability of depositing data related to nuclear safety experiments into a series of compatible data bases (for example, heat transfer, critical flow) such that they are easily available for analysis, comparison, and code verification. The overall Data Bank is comprised of the experimental facilities which produce the applicable test data, the technical service organizations which coordinate the input from the data sources, and the actual data repositories. The development of the Heat Transfer Data Bank is the topic of discussion of this paper
