[en] A brief survey is presented of methods used for the solution of time-space neutron flux density distributions in the reactor core. Typical features are summed up of methods for solving kinetics equations in diffusion approximation which are most frequently used or which have a historic significance for the development of modern methods. Discussed are modal, quasistatic, synthetic, finite element, time variable, and difference (network) methods. (B.S.)
