AbstractAbstract
[en] Yrast states of 160Yb with spins up to 30h-bar were identified in the reaction 148Sm(16O,4πγ). In addition to an initial backbend at I = 12h-bar, a second backbend occurs at I = 28h-bar. This result is discussed in terms of recently proposed explanations of the backbending effect
