[en] A rapid and selective radiochemical separation for arsenic from biological matrices is described. The procedure is based on the determination of arsenic by arsine generation and subsequent collection in a AgNO3 trap. The accuracy of the method was checked in each single step and the method applied to determine arsenic in NBS SRM 1577 bovine liver and IAEA SRM H-4 animal muscle. (author)
