[en] The woven polyester samples were irradiated by high energy electrons in nitrogen atmosphere. The doses were 1-15 Mrad (1x104 - 1.5x105 J kg-1). 80% aqueous solution of acrylic acid was used for grafting. The grafting was performed at 368 K for 10 minutes. The degree of grafting appears to be function of the absorbed dose. The alteration of the fibre qualities depends on the degree of grafting. (author)
