AbstractAbstract
[en] The first part of the paper is devoted to a description of the term Quality Assurance and to a comparison between American and European definitions of the vocabulary. The second part defines the extent of the commitment of the management, both financial and moral, when deciding to go the Quality Assurance way. It describes the effort required to decide on, set up, and implement a Quality Assurance program. Some observations are made regarding the results the company may expect. The third part of the paper deals with the indoctrination of the personnel and the several steps and actions to be taken: basic information of the personnel, explanation of the criteria, application of the procedures by blank exercises of case studies. The paper concludes by emphasizing that Quality Assurance should be a first step towards a broadening of the individual
