AbstractAbstract
[en] Reviewed is the development and construction of electron accelerators at the Novosibirsk Institute of Nuclear Physics for purposes of national economy. The ILU-6 pulse RF accelerator has been used as a powerful source of radiation. The energy range of accelerated electrons in the ILU-6 is from 400 up to 2000 keV, the beam power is 20 kW. Accelerators of the EhL type, where a section rectifier is a generator of accelerating voltage, have the energy range of accelerated electrons from 400 to 1500 kW. The EhLV type accelerators have a high stability to overvoltage. Presented are parameters of the developed pulse electron accelerators of the EhLIT type and of the superpowerful ones of the EhSU type. The average energy of electrons in the pulse in the EhLIT-type accelerators is from 0.8 up to 1.5 MeV, the beam power ranging from 0.8 to 10 kW. The EhSU accelerators were designed for the operation in the megawatt range of powers. The energy range of accelerated electrons of the EhSU-2 accelerator is from 30 to 500 keV, the beam current being equal to 10A. Presented is the description of the application of electron accelerators in the national economy
