[en] The purpose of this project was to provide a system that would more efficiently perform particle size measurements similar to those obtained by the existing modified Zeiss Analyzer. This was achieved using a Zeiss Analyzer TGZ-3 Automaticc interfaced with a Wang computer and the generation of programs compatible with the IBM-360-65 program DYTJUR05. The TGZ-3 Automati analyzer has proven to offer the following: ease in transferring data to the main computer; faster data computation; on line computation of particle distribution statistics; single as well as applicable dimension analysis; versatility in generating new analytical and computation procedures; improved accuracy in dimensional measurements
