AbstractAbstract
[en] The reasons for interest in the observed phenomena in hadron reactions above 10 GeV are considered. The latest data are not reviewed except for comparison with theoretical models. Among the topics considered are total or absorption cross sections, low average multiplicity, nuclear fragment distributions, implications for the nature of hadrons and their interactions, rapidity distributions, and multiple production energy dependence. 38 references
