AbstractAbstract
[en] A simple three-parameter density-dependent effective interaction is used to study the properties of symmetric and asymmetric nuclear matter, neutron matter and some bulk properties such as ground state energies and rms charge radii of three double-closed-shell nuclei 4He, 16O and 40Ca in first order perturbation theory. The three parameters of the effective interaction are fixed by requiring a fit to energy per particle and density in symmetric nuclear matter as well as the ground state energy of 16O. Ground state energies of 4He, 16O and 40Ca, calculated by using oscillator eigen functions as single particle wave function, are in good agreement with empirical values. (author)
