AbstractAbstract
[en] Results of several experiments carried out to study spin-spin effects in neutron-nucleus reactions and their theoretical interpretations are reviewed for the period since 1949. Mainly polarization experiments are discussed. The neutron transmission experiments are broken down into two groups at low (<= 0.1 MeV) and high (>= 0.3 MeV) energies and discussed in terms of the optical model. The data on spin-spin cross sections and deduced strength functions are presented for 165Ho and 59Co targets in the energy range from 0.3 to 8 MeV. In both cases of parallel and perpendicular polarization geometries spin-spin dependent effects are clearly existing
