AbstractAbstract
[en] Recently, Lipkin and Rubinstein stressed the importance of one photon exchange amplitudes in the decay from psi to tensor meson (T) + photon (γ). However, the experimental data on the angular distribution of the photon in the decay from psi to f + γ is consistent with the QCD two-gluon-exchange model. In this note, the author intends to study the contribution of one photon exchange amplitudes to the hadronic decay of psi. For the OZI violating strong decay of psi into two mesons, it is assumed that the amplitude for this decay can be factorized into two parts. When the corresponding hadrons in the final states for two decay modes belong to the same multiplets, it can be expected that the dynamical factors in the two amplitudes are not much different. As the result of analysis and estimation on the amplitudes for the decay of psi, relative size of G(u) and E(u), the value of SU(3) symmetry breaking parameter β in the (anti q,q) pair creation amplitudes via the gluon intermediate states, etc., it is pointed out that in the decay of psi, the contribution of the one photon exchange amplitudes is not so small in comparison with that of the OZI violating strong interaction, and that the relative phase between the amplitude via the gluons and the one photon intermediate states may be considerably large.
