AbstractAbstract
[en] The existence of an emission Moessbauer effect after uptake of a trivalent ion of rare earth on bone mineral particles, either by 'in vitro' adsorption or after 'in vivo' metabolic uptake, has been revealed. Study of the hyperfine spectra obtained at 4.20K seems to indicate that the adsorbed ion is found within two monolayers of hydration water molecules in an environment of hydroxyl groups similar to the structure of a rare earth hydroxide
