AbstractAbstract
[en] During 1978 attention has been mainly focussed on two subjects: the velocity dependence of the transient field down to low velocities and the field strength for light nuclei in ferromagnetic gadolinium. The main aim in the former was to prove the existence or non-existence of a field due to Coulomb scattering of (polarized) host electrons. The fields in Gd were investigated as a further test of the atomic model, in particular the direct polarization of the 1s atomic shell for light ions by molecular orbital (MO) coupling. (Auth.)
