AbstractAbstract
[en] The neutralization of multicomponent ion beams in gas medium of transport channels of the T-20 and the T-10M tokamak injectors is calculated. Calculations have been made assuming that the passing beam does not involve dissociation of gas molecules in the injector. Formation of D- negative ions is also taken into account. Neutral atom losses during transport are considered. It is shown that integral gas density in the T-10M tokamak neutralizer must be of the order 0.8x1016 and 1.6x1016 mol/cm2 at the beam energy 40 and 80 keV respectively. It is shown as well that for these beam energies ion beam adapter must ensure heat removal of a power of 450 and 1640 kW
