AbstractAbstract
[en] The experimental results of investigation of the mechanism of negative pion capture at rest by deformed Ta, Lu, Tm, Er and Ho nuclei are presented. The Ho isotope yield has been determined by the activation method. The isomeric ratios have been calculated for isotopes. The isobaric ratio for 159Er and 159Ho has been found to be I=(9.8+-2.9). The relation between the experimental value of the isobaric ratio and that of the amount of np- and pp-pairs on the nuclear surface has been established to be R=Nsub(np)/Nsub(pp)=(4.4+-1.4) for 169Tm. The results show that the excitation of the rotational nuclear motion is weakly dependent on the mass, charge and deformation of the initial nucleus, and it is an universal fact related to pion absorption on nucleon associations or clusters
