AbstractAbstract
[en] The elastic differential cross section of H+ on Cs is studied experimentally and theoretically. The experimental device is described, after which the differential cross-section values obtained as a function of the laboratory angle are given for four incident energies: 13.4 eV, 15.1 eV, 17.7 eV and 24.2 eV. By means of an interaction potential of the quasi-molecule H+Cs the differential cross sections are calculated for the same incident energies; this calculation uses the semi-classical method of stationary phases which shows clearly the limits of conventional description and the changes introduced by quantum effects. Very good agreement is obtained between theoretical and experimental results, which shows that elastic scattering is very little perturbed by inelastic channels in this energy range. The estimated inelastic cross section at 24 eV is about 1.9 10-15cm2, corresponding to 1.6% of the scattering process

On fait une etude experimentale et theorique de la section efficace differentielle elastic de H+ sur Cs. On decrit le dispositif experimental. On donne ensuite les valeurs trouvees des sections efficaces differentielles, en fonction de l'angle de laboratoire, pour 4 energies incidentes: 13,4 eV, 15,1 eV, 17,7 eV, et 24,2 eV. A l'aide d'un potentiel d'interaction de la quasi-molecule H+Cs, on calcule les sections efficaces differentielles pour les memes energies incidentes; on utilise pour cela la methode semi-classique des phases stationnaires qui montre clairement les limites de la description classique et les modifications introduites par les effets quantiques. On obtient un tres bon accord entre les resultats theoriques et les resultats experimentaux. Ceci montre que la diffusion elastique est tres peu perturbee par les voies inelastiques dans cette gamme d'energie. Les resultats de l'estimation de la section inelastique a 24 eV est de l'ordre de 1,9.10-15cm2, corresponant a 1,6% du processus de diffusionOriginal Title
