AbstractAbstract
[en] The sintering of carbonyl nickel powders has been studied through stereology (quantitative microscopy) associated with different physical and mechanical measurements. This study demonstrated that a set of stereological parameters, such as porosity, grain size, mean pore volume ..., was necessary to characterize porous parts with the same porosity obtained through different ways. On the one hand, stereology permitted to elucidate powder shape and speed of pressure rising influence on the compacting process. On the other hand, the study of physical and mechanical properties related to their microstructure led to distinguish: properties such as elasticity modulus independant of compacting pressure, sintering temperature and powder shape. Their evolution has been characterized through contiguity coefficient; properties such as tensile strength dependant of sintering parameters. L'etude du frittage d'une poudre de nickel ex-carbonyle a l'aide de la stereologie (microscopie quantitative) associee a differentes mesures physiques et mecaniques a permis de mettre en evidence la necessite d'utiliser un ensemble de parametres stereologiques tels que porosite, taille du grain, pore moyen en volume..., pour caracteriser des echantillons poreux de meme porosite obtenus a partir de conditions d'elaboration differentes. La stereologie a permis d'une part d'expliciter l'influence de la forme des particules de poudre et de la vitesse de montee en pression sur le processus de compactage. D'autre part, l'etude des proprietes physiques et mecaniques liees a leur microstructure a conduit a distinguer: des proprietes telles que les modules d'elasticite independantes de la pression de compactage, de la temperature de frittage et de la forme des poudres dont l'evolution a pu etre caracterisee grace a la mesure du coefficient de contiguite; des proprietes telles que la charge de rupture dependant des parametres du frittage et dont la caracterisation necessite les mesures de la porosite, du pore moyen en volume, du facteur de forme et de la taille du grainOriginal Title
