AbstractAbstract
[en] Amplitude and time properties of electroluminescence of different rare gases (Ne, Ar, He, N2) with organic admixtures (alcohols, acetone, acetic acid esters, methylal and toluene) in the proportional chamber are studied. For Ne + isopropyl alcohol mixture (15 mm Hg) there is obtained the largest lightyield exceeding 1.4x104 times the lightyield with scintillation plastic on the basis of polysterene at the same chamber and plastic thickness (1 cm). The best time characteristics are obtained for Ne + acetone mixture (170 mm Hg), for which the total width of half maximum is 20 ns
