[en] It is shown that imperfect corotation may give rise to second harmonic in the cosmic ray angular distribution. The resulting ratio of the second-to-first daily harmonic amplitudes is determined. The Pioneer anisotropy measurements and the Deep River first and second harmonics are used to estimate the mean free path at around 10 GeV. (author)
