AbstractAbstract
[en] The possible use was studied of gamma logging results for determining uranium content in an ore deposit. Ore site boring significantly affects the conditions of Rn release and movement. The first emanation measurement was conducted immediately after drilling the top ore site. Measurements were repeated every 2 to 4 hours for 70 hours. In between measurements the borehole was intensively flushed. In emanation measurements, the change in the area of anomalies S(t) in dependence on the measurement time was observed. Mathematical processing of values showed that using a single correction coefficient of emanation for the characterization of the entire ore deposit was not sufficiently accurate. It proved necessary to determine correction coefficients for the individual stratigraphic horizons in whose volume the physical ore parameters affecting emanation do not change. The correction coefficients for the calculation of uranium reserves determined from measurements conducted ranged between 1.0O and 1.13. (Ha)
