AbstractAbstract
[en] An expression for the second adiabatic invariant J is derived including the effects of plasma diamagnetism and displaced magnetic surfaces. It is shown that for values of β approximately little than epsilon, where β is the ratio of kinetic to magnetic pressure and epsilon is the inverse aspect ratio of the torus, J becomes a decreasing function of PSI, the flux function, in the outer region of the plasma column. Deriva-se uma expressao para o segundo invariante adiabatico J, incluindo os efeitos de diamagnetismo de plasma e superficies magneticas deslocadas. Mostra-se que para valores de β aproximadamente menores que epsilon onde β e a razao da pressao cinetica para a magnetica e epsilon e a razao do aspecto inverso da tora, J torna-se uma funcao decrescente de PSI a funcao fluxo, na regiao externa da coluna do plasma.
