AbstractAbstract
[en] Problems of mass and atomic number identification of reaction products in heavy ion experiments at GANIL are considered and the relative merits of a single dipole spectrometer (SPEG) as against an isochronous zero dispersion spectrometer examined. Choice of detectors to achieve the necessary energy resolution at GANIL energies with the SPEG spectrometer is discussed. (U.K.)
