AbstractAbstract
[en] A computer code, XSEC, has been written which calculates neutron cross-sections from resonance data. Although the program was originally written in order to identify neutron 'windows' in enriched nuclides, it may be used to evaluate the total neutron cross-section of any medium mass nuclide at intermediate energies. XSEC has proved very useful in identifying suitable nuclides for use as neutron filters at intermediate energies. (author)
