AbstractAbstract
[en] A description is given of a ZnS(Ag) double-chamber scintillation counter for determining low thoron concentrations in the exhaled air of persons to be examined for internal thorium contamination. The minimum amount of thoron detectable within 30 minutes at an air flow rate of 500 l/h through the detector was found to be about 0.4 pCi/l. (author)
