AbstractAbstract
[en] Beam collimators for use in the electrostatic accelerator of the 30 MV Nuclear Structure Facility now being built at the Daresbury Laboratory of the Science Research Council, are described. The collimators are designed to collimate the beam, give an indication of beam position, and to inhibit the production of ion exchange within the accelerator tube. Three different types of petal collimators have been built and tested. (UK)
