AbstractAbstract
[en] The program HLYWD is a post-processor of output files generated by large plasma simulation computations or of data files containing a time sequence of plasma diagnostics. It is intended to be used in a production mode for either type of application; i.e., it allows one to generate along with the graphics sequence, segments containing title, credits to those who performed the work, text to describe the graphics, and acknowledgement of funding agency. The current version is designed to generate 3D plots and allows one to select type of display (linear or semi-log scales), choice of normalization of function values for display purposes, viewing perspective, and an option to allow continuous rotations of surfaces. This program was developed with the intention of being relatively easy to use, reasonably flexible, and requiring a minimum investment of the user's time. It uses the TV80 library of graphics software and ORDERLIB system software on the CDC 7600 at the National Magnetic Fusion Energy Computing Center at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory in California
