[en] Main types of radiation defects and mechanisms of their formation in solid bodies are characterized. The effect of various types of radiation (neutron, proton, electron, gamma quanta) on the properties of semiconductor crystals (lifetime and mobility of charge carriers dielectric permeability, specific electric conductivity), sitalls and glasses (refraction index, sorption coefficient, luminescence level) and organic materials (dielectric film materials, thermoplasts, rubbers, vanishes etc.)
