AbstractAbstract
[en] Calculations of atomic oxygen luminescence in a near-twilight atmosphere zone are presented. An attempt has been made to correlate the observed 6300 A intensity and the molecular oxygen distribution for different temperatures of the atmosphere corresponding to different levels of solar activity. The dependence of molecular oxygen density on solar activity was introduced through exosphere temperature. Yakki-1977 neutral models were used at temperatures from 500 K to 1300 K. Given are results of the numerical calculations which show an explicit dependence of photodissociative excitation of atomic oxygen emission on solar activity
