AbstractAbstract
[en] The Mick Applicator is a device for the permanent implantation of radioactive sources for the treatment of primary cancers. The sources are after loaded following the implantation of a series of guide-needles arranged in suitable formation. This is essential when attempting sites exposed surgically and accessibility is limited. The instrument has been used in such sites as the prostate, bladder and buccal mucosa. Details of the construction and operation of the applicator are described and early experiences with it given
