AbstractAbstract
[en] The experiment was conducted using the JINR Dubna synchrophasotron by irradiating the NIIKHIM BR-2 nuclear photoemulsions with a deuteron beam of a momentum of 9.38 GeV/c. Cases were analyzed of diffraction scattering and diffraction dissociation of a deuteron on the photoemulsion nuclei. A value of 30 +-5 fm2 was obtained for the diffraction scattering cross section.
