AbstractAbstract
[en] A method is described for evaluating biliary reflux into the gastric remnant after subtotal gastrectomy, avoiding naso- or orogastric intubation. Gamma camera detection and continuous recording of the distribution and possible gastric reflux of 99Tcsup(m)-HIDA after intravenous injection was employed, before and after stimulation of bile flow by a fatty meal. The technique is simple and specific, but further clinical evaluation is needed. (Auth.)
