AbstractAbstract
[en] Manganese-52 of very high purity was produced by irradiation of vanadium with 3He-particles of 14 MeV energy. The radionuclide 54Mn, which would mainly curtail the medical applications of this nuclide, is practically absent under these conditions. Radionuclides of the other elements are separated by extraction with 8-hydroxyquinoline. Production rates of the nuclide at different beam energies have been measured. (author)
