[en] The conditions of applicability of the quasilinear approximation to describe resonant interaction between waves and particles are elucidated. It is shown that if the conditions of rapid phase mixing and collectivization of the resonance particles (overlapping of neighboring resonances) are satisfied, the nonlinear corrections to the increment and to the diffusion coefficient are negligible
