[en] Optical and 21 cm H I data have been compiled for 70 galaxies classified according to the revised DDO classification system. The sample comprises 12 anemics (of which 11 are classified Ab), 26 Sb, and 32 Sc galaxies. A comparison of the colors, luminosities, and H I contents of anemic galaxies (mostly Ab) versus ''normal'' spirals reveals that onemics an average have at least a factor 4 lower value of M/sub H//L, but similar colors and luminosities to the normal spirals
