[en] Results of modern quantum-chemical calculations of the uranyl electron state are considered. These results indicate the possibility of participation of internal atomic 6s and 6p uranium shells in OUO bonds. It is shown that the latter is possible due to the tendency of external and internal atomic shells to draw together at the transmission from 3d-, 4d- and 5d-elements to rare earths and actinoids. Prospects of the uranyl composition theory development are discussed
