[en] Measurements are reported of the gas evolution from aerated dilute solutions of polyacrylamide and polystyrene exposed to 60Co γ-radiation. The gas evolution vs dose curve shows good linearity above 1 Mrad. Gas evolution rates of the aerated solutions measured in the present work have been compared with those of the oxygen-saturated solutions. (author)
