AbstractAbstract
[en] Reflooding experiments are performed to investigate rewetting velocity and quench temperature under various thermo-hydraulic conditions, using a vertical single heater tube. Three kinds of tube materials are selected to reveal effect of the thermal conductivity. One-dimensional numerical analysis is also carried out for getting a better understanding of the experimental results. Results of the analysis agree qualitatively with the experimental data. It is confirmed that dominant factors for the reflooding process are heat capacity of the heater tube and heat transfer rate, especially, in film boiling region. (author)
